♥Spring Has Arrived♥

This tutorial was written by me on May 10, 2012. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is pure coincidence. I wrote it assuming that you have a working knowledge of PSP and it's components.


Scrapkit of choice: I used a PTU kit by HorsePlay'sPastureDesigns Called Whimsical you can get here


I used the artwork of Barbara Jensen You have to be licensed to use this artwork and it can be purchased here


Plug-ins used:
Apply Eyecandy 5 – Textures
Xero Fritilliary
Lokas Software - 3D Shadow
EyeCandy4000- gradient glow

1.Click on your LrgBracket select all float defloat selections feather by 1
Add new layer flood with #d9cca0 Duplicates 3D Effects Texture
Effect Texture Look for Bricks and use these setting :50,5,1,6,0,45,50,30
change blend mode to soft light,Apply Eyecandy 5 – Textures: Stone Wall
Choose Cobblestone from the settings tab.Use Default Settings
OK Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur:Radius: 6 merge down
Apply Gradient Glow White


2.Click on your WhiteFrame1 select all float defloat selections feather by 1
Add new layer flood with #8dbdbf
3D Effects Texture
Effect Blinds with these setting Width:6 Opacity:50 Color:White Horizontal and Light from left /top
3D Effects Inner Bevel with these setting Bevel#2 Width:13 Smoothness:15 Depth:9
Ambience:-35 Shininess:34 Angle:135 Intensity:40 Elevation:80


3.Click on your WhiteFrame2 select all float defloat selections feather by 1
Add new layer flood with #8dbdbf
3D Effects Texture
Effect Blinds with these setting Width:6 Opacity:50 Color:White Horizontal and Light from left /top
3D Effects Inner Bevel with these setting Bevel#2 Width:13 Smoothness:15 Depth:9
Ambience:-35 Shininess:34 Angle:135 Intensity:40 Elevation:80


4.Click on your BlackInnerFrame1 select all float defloat selections feather by 1
Add new layer flood with #205d62 Apply Xero Fritilliary with these setting 6,20,19,21


5.Click on your BlackInnerFrame2 select all float defloat selections feather by 1
Add new layer flood with #205d62 Apply Xero Fritilliary with these setting 6,20,19,21


6.Open up your hpd_Whimsical_49 copy and paste as new layer resize 70%
Duplicate Image Mirror,Apply Drop Shadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10, Shadow on new layer - unchecked.



7.Open up your Tube copy and Paste as new layer resize 80%
Apply Drop Shadow....Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10,
Shadow on new layer - unchecked.



8.Open up your hpd_Whimsical_14 copy and paste as new layer resize 70%
Duplicate Image Mirror,Apply Drop Shadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10, Shadow on new layer - unchecked.



9.Open up your hpd_Whimsical_50 copy and paste as new layer resize 60%
,Apply Drop Shadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10, Shadow on new layer - unchecked.



10.Open up your hpd_Whimsical_18 copy and paste as new layer resize 50%
Duplicate Image Mirror,Apply Drop Shadow..

11.Open up your hpd_Whimsical_32 copy and paste as new layer resize 50%
