This Tutorial is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP


Scrapkit of choice. I used a PTU kit by HorsePlay'sPastureDesigns Called bruised buy it at purchased here


I used the artwork of AnnaMarine You have to be licensed to use this artwork and it can be purchased here


Plug-ins needed:
EyeCandy4000- gradient glow


Template Of Choice : I use template40 from here


Open up template in psp
Shift+D Duplicates
Close out the Original
Delete following:delete the info layer and fight like a girl top and fight like a girl bottom BCA and BCA glitz
Canvas size:700x600


1.Open up your hpd_Bruised_Paper 3 copy and paste as new layer apply your WSL_Mask362


2.click on your Circle select all
modify feather by 1 copy and paste your hpd_Bruised_Paper3 as new layer
selections invert edit cut Keep Select apply gradient glow white
Drop Shadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10,
Shadow on new layer - unchecked.


3.Click on your Shape select all
modify feather by 1 add new layer copy and paste your hpd_Bruised_Paper8
into selections,Duplicates 3D Effects Texture
Effect Texture Look for Bricks
and use these setting :50,5,1,6,0,45,50,30
change blend mode to soft light,Apply
Eyecandy 5 – Textures: Stone Wall
Choose Cobblestone from the settings
tab.Use Default Settings
OK Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur:Radius: 6 merge down
apply gradient glow white
DropShadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10,
Shadow on new layer - unchecked.


4.Click on your Strip1 and 2 select all
modify feather by 1 add new layer copy and paste your hpd_Bruised_Paper8
into selections,Duplicates 3D Effects Texture
Effect Texture Look for Bricks
and use these setting :50,5,1,6,0,45,50,30
change blend mode to soft light,Apply
Eyecandy 5 – Textures: Stone Wall
Choose Cobblestone from the settings
tab.Use Default Settings
OK Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur:Radius: 6 merge down
apply gradient glow white

5.click on your Frame select all
modify feather by 1 copy and paste your hpd_Bruised_Paper3 as new layer
selections invert edit cut DropShadow..

Shadow on new layer - unchecked.


6.click on your Square select all
modify feather by 1 copy and paste your hpd_Bruised_Paper 8
into selections DropShadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60, Blur 10,
Shadow on new layer - unchecked.


7.Go To your paper layer select all float defloat
copy and paste your tube as new layer selections invert edit cut
,then change Blend mode Luminance (legacy)

8.Open up your hpd_Bruised_ 44 copy and paste as new layer
resize 60% Duplicates Image Mirror merge down
Duplicates Flip DropShadow..

Blur 10, Shadow on new layer - unchecked.sharpen


9.Open up your hpd_Bruised_ 43 copy and paste as new layer
resize 60% Duplicates Image Mirror merge down
Duplicates Flip DropShadow..
..Vertical & Horizontal 0, Opacity 60,
Blur 10, Shadow on new layer - unchecked.sharpen


10.Write out Bruised heart
Black and blue
Aches and pain
I think my heart
Will never be the same
